If you are trying to purchase a card but are having problems uploading a digital photo, please ensure that you are using a PC and Internet Explorer as your web browser. NUS Extra is not compatible with AOL or Apple Macs. Also, please ensure you are on www.nusextra.co.uk, not www.nusextra.com.
Not received/forgotten your password?
If you have forgotten or not received your NUS Extra password to log into the website, please check your junk mail file in your email account or use the 'Forgotten Password' function on the home page. A new password will be emailed to you within 12 hours.
Amazon Discount
To access your Amazon discount take the following steps: • Go to the Amazon section of the www.nusextra.co.uk website. • Input your email address and password. Make a note of the promotional code. • Once on www.amazon.co.uk add the items you wish to order to your shopping basket (please note you cannot use the 1-click shopping method when redeeming a promotional code). • In the order form you’ll see a box that says “Have a gift certificate of promotional claim code?” • Enter your promotional code into the box and click “Apply”. If you are having problems using your NUS Extra card to gain an Amazon discount for a second time, don't panic! The discount code CAN be used more than once, but you MUST go through the Amazon section of www.nusextra.co.uk each time to gain the discount.
Does my Union offer Extra?
The vast majority of Students’ Unions offer the NUS Extra card online via www.nusextra.co.uk. Simply select your Union from the drop down options to ensure the correct details are printed on the card. If your Union is not on the drop down list you may be able to purchase the card on campus when you arrive at the start of term. Simply ask at the Union reception for details of where to buy your NUS Extra card. Please note that your Union may be on the list, but under a different name. So for instance, 'Royal Holloway Students' Union' appears under ’Students' Union Royal Holloway, University of London’.
Are the discounts exclusive to NUS Extra holders?
Discounts contained within the booklet and on www.nusextra.co.uk are exclusive to NUS Extra card holders. If you have any difficulties getting discounts with your card or if you think that they are giving discounts to non-extra card holders please contact us so we can resolve any issues directly with the discount provider.
